Off ran Skippa, to pack his belongings for the adventure, too!
10 JanOne day, skippa said to Jo: “Jo, how i wish i could be you. Everyday you are warm, snug, and cosy, eating inside the house while i look for food and shelter in the field”
Jo replied:
“Skippa, how i wish i could be you too. Everyday, i am stuck in this boring house. You have the freedom to move around and play in the open field, while i stay indoors, day and night.”
The house rat Jo, and the bush rat Skippa, are very close friends.
Jo lives in the attic of Mr. Ollie’s farm house.
Skippa lives down a narrow tunnel in the open field across Mr Ollie’s farm house.
